The challenges of Change

The pharmaceutical industry is, by nature, a difficult sector to effect change in. This month I’ve spent some time supporting a pharmaceutical client with their internal communication about an innovative new business model. Not as simple as it may seem, as in the current environment, change can easily be perceived as a negative response to business pressure. We are also trying to encourage teams to communicate and integrate in a different way than they have been used to. We are gradually making progress, but the journey we have to take to do so reiterates what a complex and challenging industry this is to be innovative in.
